The surrounding grounds need a lot of attention… Didn’t appreciate the power washing on our unit at 7am while in the unit.. the downstairs bathroom has a sink that doesn’t drain and the masters bathroom has no stoppper in sink ..
We had a nice time at the pool and beach.. Thank you!

This is the perfect place for families! The pool isn’t super deep and has plenty of stairs and a fun waterfall for kids to play in!
45C was a nice place to stay also! However there were no extra toiletries or anything like you would typically find in an AirBNB place. We also didn’t get an indoor pool key like specified. But other than that it was a perfect stay! We will definitely be back in the future.

We ( me & my son) came back to my hometown for a mini vacation and my father's military funeral aboard NAS Pensacola on Friday, 9/8/23. It was great to be back home for the week and this condo/villa was absolutely fantastic. 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, full kitchen, washer & dryer. It gave us everything we needed versus getting a hotel room, having to eat out every day and finding laundry services. BEST PART.....total cost of the condo was $800-$1000 cheaper than a hotel! We will be definitely renting again for our next trip. The office staff were outstanding, very pleasant and welcoming!!!

Well stocked and comfy

My family stayed in this house, but I had other family staying in two other houses in this loop, so part of my review is comparing this house to others.
Pros:
1) The position of this house allowed for beautiful sunlight during the day.
2) There were plenty of pots, pans, utensils, and other things to cook with and eat on in the kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked to have the whole family over for dinner.
3) The decor wasn't too much or too little. The colors were light and beachy. The living area furniture was comfy.
4) The beds were comfortable.
5) Althogh most doorknobs were handles, the two leading to the balconies were regular round knobs, so I was able to put safety covers on to keep my youngest from going out.
6) There were already some plastic cups in the kitchen, perfect for my kids.
7) The house was stocked with books, DVDs, board games, and puzzles.
8) There was a hose out front, great for hosing off after the beach.
Cons: very few and minimal
1) There were tvs in both bedrooms with cable boxes and things plugged in. Some of the plugged in things had very bright blue led lights on them that were ridiculously bright at night, and we had to cover them with shirts. I would recommend to the owners that they put electrical tape over the lights.
2) Every single tabletop downstairs was glass. It's nerve wracking with younger kids and glass dishes, but everything went well for us.
3) It needed better welcome mats to help get sand off feet.

We enjoyed our weeklong stay here in the Purple Parrot. The cottage was nice and the family enjoyed the pool. The location is great as it allowed us easy access to Pensacola Beach, NAS, and other areas we wanted to visit. We are sure to return. The Armers

Great resort and location. Close to the beaches and dining opportunities. This resort has a fantastic pool and a Tiki Bar with live music most nights. Our cottage was exactly as pictured and then some. We'll be back!

This place was great! My family and i enjoyed the experience hear at Return To Me. It was everthing we were looking for. Home away from home bit relaxation. It had everything we needed and then some. Just a couple of mechanical issues but sooooo minor, did not disrupt the stay and were reported to mgmt. Overall, upon arrival, the condo was very clean and comfortable. We were surprised to see a reg coffee pot and a Keurig. Too bad we didn't bring our favorite k-cups. Very convienent to everything and a good central location between Orange Beach and Pensacola to which we visited family in both directions. Close to two grocery stores and a general merchandise store that was well stocked with everyday essentials. Restaurants and fast food were abundent. The Surf City Cabana on property had good food and a well stocked bar. Live music was good. Never a frown on a face of staff. We will return in the spring.

Stayed here while stationed at NAS. The house was great for us while attending classes. Management was great to work with and we were even able to get a housekeeper in a couple times a month. Considering buying a place here one day.

Had a great time on our quick trip. Can;t wait to "Return" back to the resort! Will try to get there this summer or fall. The King bed was great and the condo was so nice inside. We're used to condos looking like they're stamped out, but you can tell the owners use this one because they keep it so clean.

Clean, but in need of repairs

Our stay was pleasant - it was easy enough to check-in and get settled, despite the lack of on-site management 24/7. The rental was mostly clean, save for the roaches in the bathtub (eww). I'm guessing no one had been in the condo since the last renters (and maid) several weeks before. But, several doors, drapes, etc., were broken and in need of repair. From my understanding speaking with people at the resort, the previous owners lost the property; and, it is currently being managed by a temporary agency. That's fine, but be aware of it up-front. This property is not what it once was.
The pool was probably the best part of the resort. We were there shortly after Hurricane Isaac, and there was hardly anyone there at the resort or on Perdido Key. And, that made it very peaceful. The neighbors were friendly (some folks apparently live in the condos, in addition to renters). Mosquitos are plentiful, and a neighbor killed a cottonmouth snake outside the condo one evening, so be aware of your surroundings.
All in all, it was a good stay - I feel like the stay should have been discounted, as it obviously wasn't summer season anymore. But, we paid what we paid. For the size of the condo and amenities, it was a good value.

We recently stayed in this unit for a week. We really enjoyed our stay. The property is easily accessible. We loved the pool area. There were two negatives in this unit. The upstairs bath has mold growth all over the ceiling and the sinks were backing up.. Had we contacted maintenance they would have corrected the sinks.. Overall, wonderful unit!

Perfect Vacation Perfect Stay!!

Our first time to stay at Perdido Key and the first time to stay at The Purple Parrot. We loved it and will be returning next year!! Everyone was super nice at the resort and helpful. Nicole was full of information for our trip. We enjoyed the beach,pool,and the great food!! We stay in 45C Return To Me and that's what we plan on doing!! Next time dad will get to come and we can't wait to show him Perdido Key and the resort. Our cottage was great and it was clean and had everything we have at home! The weather was also Prefect the whole time!!! It was an Excellent Vacation!!

A home away from home

Our check in to "Return to Me" cottage was very simple. The office staff made sure to notify us that they would be leaving early for a meeting on the day of our check-in and offered us options of how we would like to check-in.
The cottage was clean, with all of the essential kitchen tools. It was great for fixing Christmas dinner.
The heated indoor pool and fitness room were clean and we greatly enjoyed using them.
We loved the location so convenient to the Naval aviation Museum and many other attractions.

Staying at the Purple Parrot in Perdido Key was relaxing and pleasant. We had all the comforts of home (even the slow drainging tub). The convenience of having us altogether without being in each other's way kept us sane. Eating meals together in a home setting was a savings.

Our stay at "Return To Me" was one of the best times we have ever had. The cottage was very clean and had all the ammenities that we needed to enjoy our stay. The decore was beautiful and was not just the typical "beachy" feel that you get in other places. The purple parrot was cozy and upbeat. We would stay here again and again and recommend it for everyone.

Relaxing Vacation at "Return to Me"

We came to the area to vacation and house hunt for our move in June. We stayed here for 6 days in april. It was a 2 bdr with one queen, 2 twin beds and a pull out couch bed which we didn't use. It was so nice to have a place that felt like you were right at home and whatever you needed was right there. It is located in the back which is next to the indoor pool and office. It is not right next to the outdoor pool outside which I believe is a good thing since it gets pretty loud over there in the evening. The home is very nicely decorated. Staff were very nice and accommodating since we had a late arrival and early departure. You see the security out walking around which was nice to know they were watching over us. Thank you for making our vacation comfortable and wonderful. I would highly recommend "Return to Me" it has everything you need plus more. The owners have thought of everything you would possibly need. You will love Purple Parrot Village Resort. It is minutes from many beaches.

Relaxing and quiet rental

Had the place almost to ourselves; matter of fact we saw more raccoons than other condo occupants. We did see other vehicles so we knew there were people around. We enjoyed it that way though for this time of year and were able to maximize our visit with our son, who lives several miles away. The kitchen in the unit was one of the best stocked with utensils that we have seen in our stays at many other rentals and time-shares.

My husband and I had a fun time with friends at 45C. The house was so clean and well equipped. We appreciated all the towels, blankets, and the well equiped kitchen. There were even two umbrellas inside the door if needed. I don't know if all you properties are like this , but it sure was nice. We'll be back. Ps Johnson Beach was such and added bonus.

My friend and I stayed at Return To Me with our 4 kids. We had plenty of room to relax, sleep and dine. The rental was fully stocked with for cooking and was very clean. I do wish it was closer to the pool, but we managed. The staff was friendly and accomodating.

This condo was a beautiful. Had everything we needed. When the air conditioning went out on memorial day someone was right there to fix it. Need to let people know though you can't use the free johnson beach pass. We never did receive a refund for that. We truly enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

This unit is top of the line. You can tell that the owners take pride in their property. It has a lot of personal touches to make you feel welcome without making you feel like you're staying in someone elses house! My family rented 5 separate condos (for a Pensacola wedding) in the same location and this one was by far the nicest of the five.

Fabulous environment to spend Christmas even with boys who believe in Santa Clause! Perdido Key itself is a beautiful beach, Purple Parrot quiet, and relaxing. "Return to Me" felt inviting with character exuding in each room and cupboard. Saving money on entrance to the beach as well as savings on groceries helped our family immensley.
We were sad to leave... especially to go back to the Michigan cold.

Wonderful stay in Perdido Key. We were there to visit with my son stationed at NAS Pensacola. Convenient to the base and very relaxing and beautiful place to stay. Return to Me had every thing you could ever want in a vacation home. Hopefully we will get to come back next year!!! The Tikki Bar and pool were also terrific!! Friendly staff and nice clean grounds!!!

The Purple Parrot Resort is a great place to stay--nice pool (both indoor and out), jacuzzi, and small but nice workout facilities. It's very close to both public beaches and Johnson's Beach (part of the National Park).
I've stayed in one of the other Purple Parrot houses w/the exact same floor plan before and it was excellent--pristine. This one, however, seemed a little more "used"--the carpet needed cleaning in the bedrooms, and the master bath looked as if it hadn't been scrubbed at all since the last occupant. There were also bugs in the master bath. This is the only place I saw them, and the rest of the house was clean and nice. The owners provided some really wonderful extras--DVDs to watch, a free pass for Johnson's Beach, etc. Overall: a nice place, good value for the money, but could use a little TLC in the bedrooms of this particular house.

We really enjoyed our stay in "Return to Me" We have been to the Purple Parrot before, but this was our first time in this unit. Our sons loved having their own room and were excited to find that the owners had even thought to provide markers and play-doh! It's decorations were lovely and we found most everything we needed in the unit. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this condo while attending our daughter's graduation from PCC. While it was a little bit of a drive to the school, it was well worth it. The distance gave us a bit of an isolated feel, which is what we were needing. There are grocery stores nearby, and most of the time our family chose to just stay in and eat at the condo which gave us more time together. It was very peaceful and comfortable, with the beach being an easy walk away. Everything we needed was there, the owners have done a wonderful job decorating and making sure we had what we needed. We hope to return some day!

My husband and I brought our children here for our family vacation. The unit itself was wonderful for families, roomy with everything we needed for convenience and comfort. The whole family enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. Management was awesome, going out of his way on Christmas day to accommodate us. The Johnson's beach pass was especially appreciated, we went to that beach almost every day of our vacation. We would return in a heartbeat. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful, spacious and clean

This was a perfect accomadation for our family of four. With two rooms upstairs, a living and dining room and kitchen, it was nice to have plenty of space. The on-site pool was a favorite for the kids. The beach was nearby by car, but had alot of Jelly Fish and was sort of rough -- there had been alot of storms. The property was perfect, and I would highly recommend it.
