We have stayed at the Purple parrot many times now but this was the first time in this unit. Upon arrival there was a large dead roach in the living room and while there we saw a few spiders and ants, all alive. This unit was clean and nice otherwise. Not as updated as the other and certainly not as well stocked. No keurig, no skillet or pans to cook on the stove. The seating area is a sofa table with barstools but they are almost the same height so your legs will not go underneath, not a big deal but not good seating to eat. There was also only one roll of toilet paper for 3 days. I understand all units are different and suppose we got spoiled to all the amenities/stocked supplies at the other unit. Overall it was okay but will not choose this unit again.

This was my third time staying at the resort and it is very relaxing. Even with the rain I was able to spend an afternoon at the pool and love the tiki hut and all the personalities that I meet. Thanks again and see you in a few months

Great Pool/Bar

This cute little condo is a little too far from the beach unless you have friends nearby with more convenient access. However, our friends staying on the beach came to hang out at our pool so it all worked out. Nice place, small but comfortable. Lots of towels and bedding. The big pool and hot tub right next to the fun little tiki bar was great.

Very Nice but missing some necessities

The Unit was clean and updated. Nice TVs and location was good. A couple of things that would have made it a great stay. 1) There was no Dining table. Nowhere to eat. 2) No Dresser to unpack our clothes into. Other than that, we had a very good time.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Purple Parrott. The condo was very nice and clean and had everything we needed. They even had Netflix. The kitchen was very well equipped...including a blender and crockpot. It was a short walk to both pools and the gym. The outdoor pool was wonderful and had plenty of lounge chairs. We loved being able to take our own drinks to the pool. The beach was less than a mile away. This was the first time we had not stayed directly on the beach, but it was a much better bargain than a hotel room. We would definitely stay here again.

Our Little Getaway Home

I loved this resort. I rented a single-bedroom condo and it was perfect. We were only a mile from the beach, so we didn't miss having an ocean view - it was easy enough to get to. The pool at this place is beautiful and large. Management was always helpful and friendly. Would definitely come back!

We stayed here on our honeymoon. It is perfect for couples and a short distance from the beach. The resort pool and tiki bar is second to none. Live music twice a day and a great vibe !!! Beautiful atmosphere, close to every major food stores. Very clean secured gated bungalow. We will be comming back, already in the works !!!

I absolutely loved the Purple Parrot. The service was fantastic from checking in until we left. We really enjoyed the cottage we stayed in, it was very clean and everything worked perfectly. The pool and club area were very nice. There was live music at the bar every night. I wish they could have turned up the volume a little but it is completely understandable that some guests may not have appreciated that. Fantastic experience, I would certainly go back.
