Purple Parrot Village Resort has attractive coastal architecture so the units feel much more like a cottage than a condo. This attractive and welcoming 1-Bedroom condo is conveniently located on the ground floor. It offers one of the best locations in the resort, overlooking the amazing lagoon style pool. The huge pool with a waterfall and soaking spa is a fan favorite and The Pool House has a "parrot's eye view". Enjoy some float therapy in the lagoon pool or swim in the heated indoor pool. Other amenities include a fitness room, beach volleyball and the one and only Purple Parrot Tiki Bar. Head to the beach just at at the end of the road. Perdido Key is home to many public beach accesses as well as the Gulf Islands National Seashore, Perdido Key State Park, Big Lagoon State Park and more. Enjoy miles of pristine, undeveloped white sand beaches and the amazing blue and green waters of the Gulf of Mexico. PKRM adds extra value to your vacation by offering a Dolphin Cruise, a Sunset Cruise and / or Deep Sea Fishing to our guests. Make sure you get out on the water and see for yourself why Perdido Key's waterways are referred to as a Boater's Paradise. If you prefer to visit OWA Amusement Park, we have tickets for that!
This 1 bedroom / 1 bath unit has a brand new King sized bed with a quality memory foam mattress for a great night's sleep. The bathroom has an extra large custom tile shower for rinsing off the sand & salt, as well as any worries you might have brought with you on vacation. The furniture is modern and comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. There is a large television for viewing, streaming and gaming and the porch is a terrific place to sit and sip on your favorite beverage.
Enjoy shopping, attractions and wonderful dining experiences in Perdido Key and also in nearby Orange Beach and Downtown Pensacola. Be sure to try some fresh, local seafood from the Gulf. Grill out at the Purple Parrot or try one of the many restaurants the locals love. This unit came on the market late in the season so it still has some great dates to choose from. The place was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing I could think of that would have made it better was if they had a blow dryer and laundry detergent available. The unit was very nice other than one little piece of baseboard by the shower looked kinda gross like it had water damage, but the rest of the place was pristine. We love the Purple Parrot and always look forward to coming back.

I’m so glad we chose to stay at the Purple Parrot! Our condo was absolutely perfect for two. It was clean, cozy, and just steps away from the pool and tiki bar. One of our favorite parts was sitting on the porch with a drink in hand, listening to the live music while hearing the relaxing sound of the rock waterfall—it was such a nostalgic and peaceful atmosphere. We also took advantage of the gym and indoor pool, which were a great bonus. One restaurant you absolutely have to try is the Oyster Bar at the marina just minutes away. The food was incredible, and the waterfront views made it even better. There’s also a fun little sports bar right next to the resort with live music every night. We spent an evening there dancing, laughing, and making great memories. Our favorite place of the trip was Johnson Beach. For just $25, you get a 5-day pass, and we ended up going every single day. If you enjoy a livelier beach, park in the first lot. But if you’re looking for something quieter, get there early and continue past the first lot to one of the last two parking areas. We practically had half the beach to ourselves, and to top it off, we got to watch the Blue Angels practicing overhead—it was such an unforgettable experience! The Purple Parrot truly has something for everyone, whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with family. Karaoke night was so much fun, and the tiki bar really adds to the laid-back vacation vibe. Overall, Perdido Key has officially become one of our favorite vacation destinations. We can’t wait to come back, and we highly recommend the Purple Parrot to anyone looking for a relaxing, fun, and beautiful getaway! ?????

Wonderful vacation spot. We really enjoyed this pool side unit. It was clean and well equipped. The memory foam king size bed was very comfortable. The shower was a nice size but leaked a bit so be sure to use a towel so it doesn't become slippery. Mornings with coffee and evenings with a drink were enjoyable from the screened porch - with music from the bar area in the evenings. Best pool in the area for sure - with often cleaning by friendly staff. Nice big TV for those rainy days.
